My New Room!

We recently turned the "Red Room" (Red carpet, Pink walls, I mean REALLY?) in the basement into my room. Don't believe me?


















And this is what it looked like after we painted the walls but the carpet had not come yet:

Ewwwww.... Right? Then the blessed carpet came and this is the finished look:




Oh! Wanna see the bathroom? I thought not. It looks like the people who had the house before us went out and bought every teal/blue/green/turquoise thing for a bathroom they could find and threw it in there. I didn't think you would want to see it. Also, my mama would totally kill me.TOTALLY. As I said it's awful. She's gonna kill me anyway...

Really Really Late....

So whilst going through my monstrosity of pictures I stumbled upon a post I should have done back in...JULY!!!!!! My mama's 40th birthday. 3-2-1... Now my mom should be calling me to tell me that putting it on Face book was enough and that I had to take it off right now. So if this blog post mysteriously disappears, now you know. ANYWAY... My mama turned 40 in July and my grandma and I threw together a surprise birthday party for her. We spray painted a sheet to read "Lordy, Lordy, Suz is 40!" :






I had the longest phone conversation with the lady at Publix as to getting a cake. (Seriously, I think she was on like prescribed drugs or something(and I don't think they were prescribed)). This is what it ended up looking like:

We invited The Sisters and Ms. Kay and Kaylee and John and Lora.

This party guest freaked out the whole time. Go figure.

Sorry I haven't posted in like.... 2 months. Other than getting nasty emails(Emily!) I completely forgot.Whoops. I have a birthday party to be at in 2 and a half hours so I will try to squeeze as much blogging as I can into the time I have!
