My Mama

I love my Mama sooooooooooooooooo much and since it is her birthday I thought I would say something. I just wanted to let you know Mama that I love you! Happy Birthday!!!!!

My Bear and WalterDog

This the dog we used to have, Bear. We got him when he was a puppy and soon realized that we couldn't keep him. He was cute and great when he was tiny and then he got bigger and jumped on Carolina and went to the bathroom in the house. One of the things about him that I hope I never forget is that he loved to get on the swing or the rocking chairs! But when we got into the car he would throw up. They are both moving objects aren't they?!?!?! So we had to take him back. And then 3 or 4 months after that me and my mama started saying "We need a dog" reapetdly to my dad. It took telling him that we would get a grown one till he said maybe. So we looked up Basset hound Rescue and we looked. So since my dad wanted a Border Collie I decided to look up Border Collie rescue and found my precious Walterdog. We laughed at his name and joked never thinking that we would own him. Yet here we are today loving him something fierce. We had to gain his trust thpugh. When we first went to go see him he would hide behind the owner's legs and play with other 8 or 9 border collies that they were fostering there. So we ended up getting him. They came over with him the day after my birthdaty party. The grown ups and Holt and Carolina went inside and I stayed out with Walter. We went to go investigate and then we went into the house. After they left Walter hid behind the couch and peeped out at us every once in a while.Then I finally got him to come into my room. Well, the first thing Walter layed eyes on was my soft WHITE! bunny rug. So, he decided to stay there. Great for him but not so great for my WHITE! bunny rug.He followed me around but wasn't eating or drinking anything atall. So, I took matters into my own hands. I grabbed the medicine dropper and a tub of water and managed to get some water in his mouth but then we still had the problem that: 1. He still wasn't eating and 2. He didn't really like me shoving water in his mouth whih I can understand. So, I dipped his treats and food in some water and sure enough it smelled good and he started eating them! And then he started to like my mom and my brother and sister.He is still scared of my dad though and I am going to leave the running away story for another day! So long! I love my WalterDog!

Little Update

Just a little update in my life for ya'll who are so perserverant to try to keep up with all my fragments, lack of creativity, and run-on sentences! I have been just trying to enjoy life these past couple days and doing so have had some funny exeperiances. Like, for instance getting everything out of the cabinet, putting it all back in only to realize that I had left something out that had to go in the cabinet too. My father's phone.Juliana I remember thinking that dosen't go in the cabinet and then bursting into laughter. And other cases where I couldn't stop laughing. I am so glad God made laughter! I am not ready to back to my co-op, Timothy in 3 weeks! But Iam so ready for CFT to start! I guess I am going to go! Bye!

Kung Foo Fighting

I got these shots of Holt and Carolina tonight. They were dancing to the music that came on after Kung Foo Panda. Holt actually ended up hitting Carolina though. She got over it. They are hilarious kids!

Kids Say the Darndest Things

Holt and Carolina are naturally funny kids, making everyone around them laugh, but used to, anything they would say we would rush to find a pen and piece of paper to capture those memories which we knew wouldn't last forever. Now we are so happy that we caught those memories and preserved them so now we can't stop laughing when we look back. Like today, when looking I found a list of things that Holt and Carolina said when they were little. On the list was that Holt when he was 2 or 3 said, getting off his little toilet, " See my poo-poo? I made it just for you!!" That was a definate laugh 'till you cry situation.Then we come to my all time favorite. Holt had been pretending he was hurt and then saying ,"I got ya!"when we came running. So Daddy sat down with him and told him the crying wolf story.When Daddy got to the part where the wolf was there and the little boy cried ''wolf'' he asked Holt what he thought happened next. Holt said that the little boy's daddy came running and the wolf ate him. Daddy looked at him confused and then Holt said''I got ya!'' Then on a home movie I was running around with him and he was spitting at me and I would scream at him and he thought that was hilarious. Then daddy told me to sit down with him and ask him waht a dog said. So we sat down and I asked him and he said''arf'' and I asked him a few more then I got to a cat and he promptly got up and started spitting again. Another time Holt asked daddy what color something was and Daddy said it was yellow. Holt said,'' Very good, Daddy!'' As if he knew and Daddy didn't! Moving on to Caromylina she said one time after getting dressed up, '' I have to go show the mirror!'' She also pronounces things different. Like Walter is ''Walta" and picture is ''peecher''. My favorite is for for sure she says''foshaw'' She is just a hilarious kid. I love them both and I am so glad for pens, paper and memories.

Campout Birthday Party!

Fireflies,Moths and July Fourth

What better way to kick off The Fourth of July then catching fireflies! We all caught one except daddy. I caught Caro's only to find out that I had caught a ....moth. Sad things. She didn't care though.I am going to blog more about The Fourth of July probably tomorrow.Bye and Happy Fourth!
