I got these shots of Holt and Carolina tonight. They were dancing to the music that came on after Kung Foo Panda. Holt actually ended up hitting Carolina though. She got over it. They are hilarious kids!

Kids Say the Darndest Things

Holt and Carolina are naturally funny kids, making everyone around them laugh, but used to, anything they would say we would rush to find a pen and piece of paper to capture those memories which we knew wouldn't last forever. Now we are so happy that we caught those memories and preserved them so now we can't stop laughing when we look back. Like today, when looking I found a list of things that Holt and Carolina said when they were little. On the list was that Holt when he was 2 or 3 said, getting off his little toilet, " See my poo-poo? I made it just for you!!" That was a definate laugh 'till you cry situation.Then we come to my all time favorite. Holt had been pretending he was hurt and then saying ,"I got ya!"when we came running. So Daddy sat down with him and told him the crying wolf story.When Daddy got to the part where the wolf was there and the little boy cried ''wolf'' he asked Holt what he thought happened next. Holt said that the little boy's daddy came running and the wolf ate him. Daddy looked at him confused and then Holt said''I got ya!'' Then on a home movie I was running around with him and he was spitting at me and I would scream at him and he thought that was hilarious. Then daddy told me to sit down with him and ask him waht a dog said. So we sat down and I asked him and he said''arf'' and I asked him a few more then I got to a cat and he promptly got up and started spitting again. Another time Holt asked daddy what color something was and Daddy said it was yellow. Holt said,'' Very good, Daddy!'' As if he knew and Daddy didn't! Moving on to Caromylina she said one time after getting dressed up, '' I have to go show the mirror!'' She also pronounces things different. Like Walter is ''Walta" and picture is ''peecher''. My favorite is for for sure she says''foshaw'' She is just a hilarious kid. I love them both and I am so glad for pens, paper and memories.

Campout Birthday Party!

Fireflies,Moths and July Fourth

What better way to kick off The Fourth of July then catching fireflies! We all caught one except daddy. I caught Caro's only to find out that I had caught a ....moth. Sad things. She didn't care though.I am going to blog more about The Fourth of July probably tomorrow.Bye and Happy Fourth!

Independence Day,2009

This year we have consented to staying at our house for the Fourth of July. We are going to have my grandma and Big daddy(I gave him that name when I was little) and my uncle and his girlfriend over, and perhaps some friends from church. We are going to have our redneck water slide (which we had at my birthday party( which I haven't blogged about since I don't have any pics yet))I guess I am going to go. Bye! pics are from last year

Work and Fevers

I went with my daddy to work today. It was fun since he works in a lumber company. Last night I was up until 1:00 in the morning because Holt's fever climbed to 103.7 which was when we called the nurse who said to put him to bed and then try to get him up and thank goodness he got up when my daddy offered to play video games with him. He is asleep right now on the couch so that is good.Carolina doesn't have a fever anymore. I am thinking about getting my brother an Orioles Webkinz for the end of tee ball season because we are on the Orioles team. I guess I will go. The picture is of Holt asleep on the couch.

Tee Ball and Fevers

Holt now has Carolina's fever except hers is 100 and his is 103 sometimes dropping and sometimes going higher but not over 103. Since he has a fever he didn't go to tee-ball tonight but me and my dad did. Tomorrow i am going to work with my daddy. I just thought i would get that out there ! Bye!

Swimming!

Apparently summer has officialy started because I have been swimming 3 times in the past week and a half. I went swimming twice at Emily's neighborhood and once at Ella's house. The first time I went to Emily's pool which is where these pictures were taken.We were jumping and posing for a High School Muisical jump and then landing in the pool. The second time we went night swimming and it was so cool! Then Ella had a birthday party and we went swimming. I completely forgot to do my shoulders and under my eyes so, I am hurting really bad right now!~ Carolina has a fever and she won't eat anything. I guess I am going to go. Bye!

More About Walter, Frog Pics, and more!

Yesterday we went to my brother's tee ball cookout at Dellinger. I wanted to take Walter on his first outing so I packed treats, toys, water, a bowl, and we must not forget the dreaded plastic bags and poop scoop!!! We got there and Walter has grown an attacthment to me and mommy so when we got there he wanted to know why he couldn't be with her and me at the same time but he calmed down after a while and actually let some kids come up to him and pet him. It was funny though, because there was this little girl there probably about 5 who is not on the team and is not a sibling of a kid on the team. Well, she came up to him and started petting him and when Carolina came up to me and said '' Walter doesn't want me to pet him right now,'' or something of that nature. Well, that was a perfect opportunity for the girl (who had never seen Carolina before, therefore not knowing that Walter was actually part Carolina's dog ) to say, '' He likes me ! See ! If you rub his back he will like you like he loves me!" And with that Walter got up and Carolina stood up and left. That girl pestered us the entire night telling everyone that was a mile away from us that my dog loved her!

Last night Katie and Jud came to babysit us while my parents went out. It was fun! Today we cleaned up the yard and we are going to watch Hotel For Dogs tonight on Comcast. Apparently getting digital tellivision is really important ( for some unknown reason to me) because it is splattered all over the news: That in case you didn't know ( and I really don't know how ANYONE couldn't have heard about it as soon as we made the switch) That America Makes The Jump to Digital Tellivision. Good gracious! I stuck my finger inside a half dead caterpillar today! On accident of course! I don't think it is half dead anymore though. Very gross! Walter is still very sweet although he helped himself to some tuna yeasterday( how he got the lid off is unknown to me) and wieners last night! I guess I will go!! As for the picture of me on the frog, well... hey! we are all kids!!

Renassiance Fesitival

On Saturday we went to the Renassiance Festival as a family. It was so much fun! It was all old timey, like knights and fair maidens with lots of makeup on.We went with my uncle and his girlfriend, but we didn't get there at the same time so we spent a LONG time looking for them. I am very bored these days because I am out of school for the summer, so there is lots of Andy Griffeth and Bonanza on at our house. We used to live in Lousville, Kentucky and my mother's friend is coming up next week and she is going to be staying here. Lot's of cleaning up will be taking place here! Well, I guess I will go!

VBS and whatnot

Last night was Vbs and it went really well! I am now 11 and I don't feel any older.I also passed my test yesterday so now I am done with school for the summer. We are going somewhere today and our parents will not tell us where ,but we are excited! I will post pictures of Walter soon. He is doing a lot better now that he knows that we love him. My little sister accidently let him out of the house yesterday while my mom was at the mailbox. He came right to her, though!Guess I will go now!

I AM 11!

So, today at 7:21 tonight I will officially be 11! I cannot wait! The wierd thing is that my birthday is today and the VBS play, which I have a part in, is tonight!I am signing off now!I just took a math test and if I pass I am done with school! BYE!

Mr. Good Buddy

We got a dog last Saturday.We got him from a shelter so we did not get to name him but his name is Walter. He is a border collie, has no herding instinct whatsoever and is just so adorable. However, he was beat and mistreated very badly before he came to the shelter. He bonded with my mother and I quickly,but we think whoever mistreated him was a man because even though my dad is awesome and loves animals, Walter was still a little cautious of him.Then I went to Vacation Bible School at my church and Walter got antsy and as my dad was getting the leash to take him out he slipped through the catch in the door. My dad ran so fast through our woods that feet were so cut up it wasn't even funny. Walter ran faster though, because he is a border collie and border collie are natural runners. We spent that night calling for him and then when my dad was talking to me i heard something moving in our woods. In the morning I could see that he had been camping in the woods the whole night.We called and called but we had only had him for a day and he did not trust us. So we called the lady who was fostering him and she finally got im to come out. Now he loves to jump on my bed and listen to my cd player. I have to go do math. BYE FOR NOW!
